Our 20th year in business - A time to reflect

20 years old… We cannot believe it!

From humble beginnings at our original location Arlington, which some of you surely remember, to our home for the last 12 years in Merrifield, we are incredibly grateful that we can continue to support the film scene in our own little creative community.

As the new owner, (the one currently writing this) I’m still in awe that we are already beginning to close out our first year! 

I know I can speak for everyone when I say it was a weird year. While I can’t say this is exactly how busy I wanted our first year in business to go, I’m still incredibly happy that we could still support the projects that did come through to us! Most importantly though, I’m most appreciative of those who stuck with us through the transition of ownership. That was definitely my biggest fear when taking on this role and I can happily say that everyone has been incredibly accepting and supportive of my family and I becoming the new owners. 

DC Camera has been an institution in serving creatives from all across the world and making equipment accessible to projects and clients of all different backgrounds. As the years go on, that will always be our top-priority, along with exceptional service.

Thank you for continued support, we seriously couldn’t do it without you. 

So with all that said, let’s wrap this thing up.
